This antiquated post is accepted to have been worked in 319 BC by the Mauryan head Chandragupta, however it has been expanded commonly. In places, the bulwarks arrive at 20m high. Brief History:

 Said to have been worked in 319 BC, the fortress was the compositional work of Chandragupta. However, the fortress changed many hands. Leftovers of various rulers can be found in certain pieces of the construction. For instance, on the defense over the entryway is an engraving of Mandalika III, dated 1450. Another insignia is as a 10 inch bore gun of ringer metal - 17 feet in length and 4 feet 8-inch round at the mouth. This weapon was brought from Diu, where it was left by the Ottoman Turks when they were crushed in the Siege of Diu during the sixteenth century.
