History of Kite Museum 


Kite Museum is an educational gallery created inside the Sanskar Kendra, a structure planned by unmistakable modeler Le Corbusier. A considered setting up an exhibition hall only for showing a scope of kites arose when Mr. Bhanubhai Shah parted with his kite assortment to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. 

Bhanubhai Shah had an enthusiasm of gathering kites and had been gathering kites from the age of 21 years. A fortune of kites differing in shading and sizes was protected by him for around fifty years. Kite Museum is overseen by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
