 Kadam dungar, Dang, Gujarat

Found 20 km from Ahwa off Ahwa-Waghai street close to town Aamsarvalan, Kadamdungar is a slope with a normal elevation of in excess of 1000 meters above MSL. It is a position of strict significance for the local tribals.

According to their strict conviction, the little caverns, arranged on the huge level on the slope, are accepted to have seven 'maavlis' (a vernacular term for 'mother goddess') including Tandalasavar, Kamjasavar, Dudhasavar, Ghunghasavar, Fulasavar, Vaghasavar and Makhwalasavar. An enormous mela, coordinated each year from the night before New Year to Bhai Bij, draws in a large group of ancestral populace. They adore the seven 'maavlis' and dance on the tunes of 'paavri' as the night progressed.
